Alexanda is a delicate shawl that uses one skein of hand dyed 50%merino/50%silk blend luxury yarn in 4 ply. It was designed specifically for this yarn which is 440m in length.

Alexanda starts at the lace edge meaning all the hard work is done at the very beginning.

A perfect pattern if you are new to lace but not recommended for the brand new knitter.

I have since added modifications to this pattern for a 350m skein and a 400m skein.
