Jo's Musselburgh Hat
Jo made a Musselburgh using my gorgeous 2ply Yak/Silk held double with a 2 ply Mohair/Silk.
One end was an undyed Yak/Silk held with Mohair/Silk in Charlotte's Rose colourway and the other end used Yak/Silk dyed in Precious colourway held double with Mohair/Silk in Charlottes Rose.
The result? STUNNING!!!
My favourite end is the pink base but Jo prefers the undyed base.
What do you think?

I made a few tiny changes such as pom poms on the hat instead of knitted balls and I added stripes into the hat and body.
I added a tiny, knitted heart because it's February - pattern free on Rav https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/love-you-forever
Another fun knit by Sarah Schira - come and gnome with me :)

This is a really cute little cardigan.
I found it to be an easy pattern to follow and a very uncomplicated knit.
I added I-cord edgings to the neck/front edge and the sleeve edges.
I alternated my skeins as I knitted and I'm really happy with how it worked out - I love the concentration of black speckles at the top of the garment.
The yarn is heavenly to work with - so soft and warm yet extremely light.
I used my yarn diary for the first time with this project and I'm so glad I did. You think that you're going to remember all the details such as swatch count, needle size, modifications etc BUT when it's written down you know that the info is accurate and you can free up your brain space.

Hi guys, Kathryn here..
I had a lot of fun knitting this little guy, I chose an easy pattern to start my gnome journey. I lose interest quickly so short and sweet is best for me. The pattern is well written, easy to follow and reasonably easy to knit.
I used these delicious earthy tones because I love how they look together and I used 2 x 2ply yarns for the beard - 2ply merino and 2ply mohair/silk.
I used dpns for this project, yes, they're fiddly but you get used to them after a while. I found the 10cm length best for the hat and the 15cm length best for the body.
