Ok Unwinders....let's go to Mudgee.
The new dates are June 16 - 19.
I won't be responsible for any bookings except for lunch on Friday.
I have spoken to the stores to let them know we are visiting.
I'm staying at Parklands Resort in a family suite. It's quite an economical option for 4 people.
Please book your own accommodation. Personally, I wouldn't pay for anything up front but if you do, please make sure that you are able to cancel at any time with no cost to you. Who knows when the world will turn pear shaped again?
I am driving and taking fellow travellers with me. Maybe ask in the group if you need a lift.
Feel free to join in on the itinerary or simply do your own thing.
The proposed itinerary is:
Travel to Mudgee via Fibre Frolic at Kurrajong. Meet at Fibre Frolic for some shopping and morning tea/lunch at the cafe attached to the store https://fibrefrolic.com.au/
Dinner in Mudgee followed by knit/crochet get together.
Travel to Rylstone for a day of shopping at Convent and Chapel and main street stores https://conventandchapelwool.com/
Lunch at The Globe Hotel which is next door to Convent and Chapel. I've made a booking for midday and will need final numbers closer to the date. They are happy for us to use their bistro to sit and knit all day as long as we order food and drinks from their venue.
Back to Mudgee for dinner and knit/chat get together.
Cheese factory - tastings available on site https://www.highvalley.com.au/index.html
Lunch at a vineyard? I haven't organised anything but will do some research.
Dinner in Mudgee followed by, you guessed it, knitting and crochet get together.
Leisurely trip home, maybe via Gulgong which is only 30mins away and is well worth a visit. https://www.aussietowns.com.au/town/gulgong-nsw
