The Lacy Bias Rib Scarf is knitted on the bias.
It starts with 4 stitches, increases to the desired width, knits straight to the desired length and then decreases to 4 stitches.
This scarf will look lovely in any yarn but is very suitable for self-striping yarn or a yarn advent calendar.
Skill level: adventurous beginner through to the seasoned knitter.
Yarn: 1 x 4ply, 350m/400m, 100g skein.
Needles: 5.00mm circular needle (60cm – 100cm cable) OR straight needles.
Notions: Stitch marker (1)
One 100g, 400m, 4 ply skein makes a scarf approx. 250cm x 25cm.
If you’d prefer a lacier look for your scarf, simply use a larger needle, anything up to 7mm. A larger needle size will alter the finished size.
