The Bathurst Beanie

The Bathurst Beanie can be knitted as either a snug fit beanie or a slouchy fit beanie.

The Bathurst Beanie uses two yarns held together – 4ply 100% Merino held with a strand of 2ply Mohair/silk blend.

The result is a gloriously soft beanie with a pretty halo of mohair.

Yarn requirements:

1 x 4ply, 175m, 50g ball of commercially dyed Merino held together with…

1 x 2ply, 200m, 20g skein of hand dyed 63% Mohair/37% Silk

Needles:

3.50mm 50cm circular needle

4.00mm 50cm circular needle

4.00mm DPNs

Gauge

24st x 32 rows x 10cm swatch knit in stockinette holding two yarns together and using a 4mm needle.
