Meet Leura Blossoms, inspired by the decades old Cherry Blossoms in the beautiful Blue Mountains town of Leura and this fabulous Hand Dyed yarn called Fridays’ Child from The Australian Wool Store, this shawl was a delight to design and create.
Winter is when the grey of the gnarly old trunks of the wonderful trees stand stark against the vivid green of the lawn on Leura Mall. Then comes Spring and these cherished trees pop with a riot of colour which is beautifully reflected in this design.
